Anthony GrahamSr. Policy Specialist University of Pittsburgh ![]() Member SpotlightAnthony GrahamHow long have you been involved with higher education policy administration?I started drafting financial policies at Pitt in 2015 and moved to the policy office in 2018. What drew you to working in higher education?I had experience with for-profit education in Pittsburgh and it gave me a great understanding on how colleges and universities worked from an administrative perspective. Moving to Pitt was the best move becasue it has provided many more opportunities to understand the organization from a faculty perspective. Why did you become an ACUPA member? What are you looking forward to from your membership?I joined the list serve long ago. We did a lot of research and benchmarking on financial policies and risk management. I hope to continue the amazing work that the members before me started. What are the main policy issues you are working on?My policy topics are: cash; drones; travel advances; payment card; stored value card payments; service animals; flexible work arrangements; IT policies on access, use, and networks; and travel, business, and miscellaneous expense. Give us a fun fact about your institution. Our campus is home to the Cathedral of Learning which is tallest building dedicated to education in the Western Hemisphere (a building at the Moscow University is a little taller).
