ACUPA's annual conference represents an opportunity to bring a unique and diverse group of individuals together to network, share and acquire knowledge, and advance higher education policy administration. As participants, you can provide thought leadership and definition to a field that is evolving and varied across institutions, geographical regions, and professional titles and backgrounds; and develop valuable connections along the way. In the evenings, enjoy the entertainment, dining, and shopping opportunities in Denver and the surrounding area.

Call for Proposals - Now through October 27

The ACUPA Events Planning Committee invites members, subject matter experts, and partners to submit proposals for presentations at the conference.

We’re introducing a new opportunity for you to collaborate and present with ACUPA colleagues: peer panels on pre-designed topics. Instead of presenting solo, you can apply to join one of our curated panels:

  • Scaling Policy Management to Fit Your Team
  • Career Progression – Where Will Policy Take You?

In addition to the panels, we welcome proposals about any higher education policy topic. These topics may include, but not limited to:

  • Leveraging technology, AI, and data in policy administration
  • Developing and managing the policy process
  • Regulatory compliance and risk management
  • Effective communication of policies to the campus community
  • Measuring policy effectiveness
  • Human resources, Title IX, accessibility, privacy, and campus safety

Presentations are typically 50 minutes, including Q&A. The submission deadline is October 16, with notification sent to selected individuals in early November.

Conference registration will open later this year.

To request a refund or substitution, send written notification to the ACUPA Events Planning Committee at events@ACUPA.org. Refund requests will be honored if received by March 20, 2026, and are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be made after this date for any reason. Substitutions are permitted at any time for an additional fee.

The group rate for the hotel is $219 per night plus taxes and fees, and the room block deadline is March 26, 2026.
