How long have you been involved with higher education policy administration?

5 years.

What drew you to working in higher education?

Higher education provides the best of both worlds for me, meaning I get to continue my career in state government/public administration, while focusing on higher education policy.

Why did you become an ACUPA member? What are you looking forward to from your membership?

I joined ACUPA to connect with colleagues facing similar challenges in policy administration. The resources available to me have been beneficial in the policy development process at my university.

What are the main policy issues you are working on?

Currently, I am working on redeveloping our policy and procedures process to make it more user-friendly for all stakeholders at our university.

Give us a fun fact about your institution.

We are the only university with a rotating restaurant, known as Top of Carolina, located on the 18th floor of the Capstone Building.
