University of North Dakota started the development of a gender inclusion policy in May 2021. After UND posted the document for campus comment in October, a political bloggist hyped up the document's content and a plethora of comments against the policy were received. Learn what to consider when proposing a potentially controversial policy topic, what to expect and how to addressed situations that may arise, and how to move forward in the policy development process.
