When implementing an initiative on digital accessibility in a higher education community, administrative approaches focused on compliance may be difficult to implement without buy-in from faculty, staff, or even students. This presentation provides a case study of best practice implementation of a full-scale digital accessibility initiative (DAI) inclusive of ADA and WCAG compliance; document development and review/corrections to WCAG and ADA standards; alongside implementation training and integrated faculty and staff training models with DAI embedded as a core best practice.
